No one will ever be able to tell this desk lamp conceals a hidden color camera and mini DVR with an SD card to record what the camera sees. The desk lamp's power cord powers the desk lamp, DVR and the camera.
This hidden camera features motion-activated recording that starts as soon as motion is detected. With motion-activation, you won't have to fast forward through hours of uneventful recording. Also has Motion Detection Area Masking. For example, if you have a dog or cat and don't want it to set off the motion detector, you can mask the lower quarter of the field of vision so it does not detect motion.
You can view your recordings by using the included RCA cable to connect to your TV or computer or insert the included 8GB SD card into your computer.

We offer an 8 GB SD card for use in this DVR hidden camera. For continuous recording, you may want to have an extra one. That way you can switch out the one that comes with the DVR when it is full with a new one and continue to capture the video. Can I view over the internet?
Unfortunately no, not with this set up. The camera on this page uses an SD card to record the video and therefore is a self contained recorder in itself.
What about audio?
Audio is not allowed in covert operations. Only law enforcement is allowed audio. Pertains to the 4th Amendment.
How much time can you record per 1 GB?
You get about 2.5 hours per GB of SD card memory. The larger the card, the more time you can record. These Nanny cams support SD cards up to 8GB in size (approx. 20 hours.)
